We just released version 2.7.2 of our Chrome and Opera add-ons.

This version offers mainly bug fixes and minor UI improvements. You can checkout the full release notes below.

• Switching to \ from starred items view is now much faster.
• Added a new dialog window when deleting multiple items at once.
• Fixed a bug in Chrome for OS X where trying  to delete multiple items would not work.
• Minor changes to font colors for a smoother look.

We just released version 2.6.5 of our Chrome and Opera add-ons.

This update brings a couple of major updates to our signup and login flows.

If you are not logged in to CellSend, you will see a new welcome screen allowing you to either login or create a new account.

Existing users, who are already logged in to CellSend, will not see the welcome screen.

Here are the full release notes:

• New welcome screen for users who are not logged in
• Cleaner UI for the login signup process
• Ability to create a new CellSend account right from the add-on
• Updated the maximum length of texts to 5000 characters (previously 2500)
• Minor bug fixes

We released this small update to our Opera and Chrome add-ons to fix a bug with highlighting some text and using the context menu to send it.

For Chrome, we now use the Chrome Notifications to let you know the text was sent (when using context menus).

Once this functionality is available in Opera’s “stable” version we will add it there as well.

Chrome Notifications

We released version 2.6.4 of our Chrome and Opera extensions.

This is a minor update to fix some bugs and polish the UI.

Here are the full release notes:

• Fix a bug with refreshing the starred texts list
• Fixed a bug where in some cases the list of texts would not refresh
• Updated “star” icon for texts
• Updated “delete” icon for texts

The update should be available for everyone within the next few hours.

We released a small update to our Chrome and Opera extensions.

This update adds speed and security improvements, as well as minor UI changes.

Please note – we are aware of an issue with our Opera add-on preventing you from sending pictures. This is an issue in the Opera browser, we are working with their development team to try and solve it.

We will let you know once the bug has been fixed.

We just released version 2.6 of CellSend for Chrome and Opera (2.6.1)!

In this version we completely rebuild our JavaScript code to offer better security and improved speed.

We also did some minor UI changes:

• The “Logout” button has moved to the top right corner, just under the version number
• Reduced font size of texts
• Updated image icons for a smoother look on high resolution displays
• New loader animation

The update has been submitted to the Opera Gallery and the Chrome Web Store, you should get it automatically once it’s approved – this can take between a couple of hours and even days at some cases.
